These Sub-woofers Sport a Reinforced Spider matrix and high density rubber sound these drivers will withstand one heck of a pounding when used with the correct enclosure and not give out due to the reinforced design and high quality construction. In addition to their great construction they also give the option to wire in different configurations due to the added voice coil to each sub, effectively giving you twice as many wiring options as a single voice coil sub-woofer. Should a single voice coil ever go out you still are capable of playing your beat with the second voice coil, but lets hope that never happens and it shouldn't given the quality put into SPL's products.
